This site was created with the intention to introduce this little gem of Liguria, which divides the Golfo del Tigullio from the Golfo Paradiso, simply by sharing our experiences on the "Monte di Portofino" along its paths, also off the beaten path.
Leaving the most competent people and sites specific knowledge about the flora, fauna and history, we just describe in a simple and clear (at least we try) the main characteristics of the various paths and to suggest some particularly interesting itineraries. All descriptions of the paths and their travel times relate to our personal experience.
The site is constantly updated and in future also propose some paths that wind through the hills surrounding the town of Portofino Promontory and we believe that just as charming.
The Park of Portofino is a peaceful oasis where you can walk completely immersed in nature, surrounded by breathtaking scenery.
Beauty is priceless, to appear, as they descend from the summit, the picturesque fishing villages overlooking the Golfo Paradiso and Tigullio. From the colorful houses of Camogli to famous VIP square of Portofino, from the rocky Punta Chiappa to elegant Santa Margherita Ligure, from unmistakable Paraggi turquoise sea to little bay of San Fruttuoso di Camogli.
The many paths through the Monte di Portofino differ in length and difficulty making it possible for anyone to access it by choosing, according to their capacity, a simple and short walk or a more challenging path.
